Background
Catherine is a managing director and sits on the board of a large independent private company. She is married, with two children, and has been a client of Andrew Day’s for 15 years.
Catherine’s main goal has always been to get to a position in which she can choose to retire, safe in the knowledge that her family is protected should anything ever go wrong.
What we did
From the outset, we advised, agreed and set out a plan to build a substantial pension portfolio for Catherine.
This has been achieved with a SIPP, established with a significant fund value; growth and tax relief have also been obtained through this. In addition, further wealth has been established in ISAs.
Catherine today
Catherine has achieved financial security, and this has helped improve her wellbeing and outlook to life.
In the meantime, she has steadily risen through the organisation where she has worked for many years. There is no doubt that her prudence in saving has underpinned her successful career path and has given her the freedom to choose when she wants to call it a day.
The value of your investment (and any income from them) can go down as well as up and you may not get back the full amount you invested. Levels, bases of and reliefs from taxation may be subject to change and their value depends on the individual circumstances of the investor.
